A new way to clean aviation torque
tubes and stator rings efficiently with maximum effectivity
In association with a major Airplane Brake Manufacturer our
Aerota system has been designed and built specifically for cleaning
Airplane brake components to accommodate brake types from ALL major
Airplanes and this unique system meets the needs of overhaul /
service workshops worldwide.
The time and cost savings realized from using the Aerota cleaning
system are phenominal
- it will double your thru-put / ttttttuuuurnaround time on brake
overhaul
SHOWN BELOW A SCHEMATIC OF OUR AEROTA SYSTEM

The Aerota can be loaded with an optional elevator to reduce risk of
personal injury or operator back strain.
The unit is designed to take a full brake system set from all major
airplanes types currently operating today - including
most 'heavy airplane types' including Boeing 747, DC-10 etc.
Once the Aerota system is loaded the fully automated cleaning process
can begin, typically 10-15 minutes, allowing the operator
to carry out alternate tasks. During the cleaning process the specially
designed drum rotates at slow speed allowing
the cleaning agent to penetrate all component surfaces to give a
overall even clean finish on the brake set.

The
Aerota system has its own in-built dust extractor which leaves the
components and the working
environment dust free thereby reduces any Health / Safety risks. When
the Clean Cycle is complete the system
will de-activate and the cleaned brake parts can be removed.
As with all cleaning procedures, cleaned components should be subjected
to an M.P.I. or
dye penetrant test to ensure total serviceability.
Once complete the next batch of brake parts can be immediately loaded.

Fabrication Detail
The Aerota Cleaning System is constructed of reinforced hi-grade steel
and is also rubber lined
to allow reduced reduced noise and cabinet wear.
The cabinet base has a steel-lined trough in manganese and this houses
twin chrome steel paddles to
propel the cleaning material. The impeller bearings are protected by
triple sealed bearings designed for years
of active service with minimal maintenance.
